All hell is about to break loose in Sam Archer’s life, as horrible events take place one after another.

He and his family thought their immediate problems were over after the defeat of the villainous hero Blaze Maddox, but his death was just the beginning.

Danger is coming from all sides, and it turns out that Sam isn’t the only one with a target on his head.

As each disaster nearly destroys his world, Sam is presented with life-altering choices that not only affect him, but everyone in his life as well. However, one thing is quickly becoming clear - he isn’t in it alone, and there is truly strength in numbers.

Meh.

It's more of the same, but a lot less action, alot less interesting interaction with superpowers. Mostly character building, discussions and random sex. One more interesting situation in the middle with a kidnapping, but otherwise this book caused me to fastforward alot...

Don't get me wrong. It's not bad. This kind of writing however should be done in bigger books that can afford this level of character building. In a book that you can read in one evening it feels like you just read a book where nothing happened.

Excellent narration again.

I enjoy the series but have issues with this book

Don't get me wrong I do understand the concept behind the struggle by adding the other 2 women into the mix. With that said,

Minor Spoiler

I have an issue with how the 2 new additions are excluded. With the ability to keep one young and their sole wish is to be added into the the relationship it seems like a no brainer. Eventually that exclusion will lead to negative emotions and probably the loss of basically immortality. The fear of blackmail was brought up with the acknowledgment almost any price would be paid to keep the family together so why not start building that relationship sooner rather then later? Not to mention playing matchmaker would take her away from those who can protect her. Everyone knows the healer is the most important member. Which means keeping them close and safe!

I NEEEED more, I need my fix!

The voice actors voices annoyed me at 1st because they recycled the voices instead of trying new ones.(other titles they'd done). but the story and characters are amazing. no plot point seemed too unbelievable, no character seemed too overpowered. no one was perfect. This series was PERFECTION. I am sorry it's over though.

Good read

this series really has good character development. Everything that this series has pointed to plot wise has been spoken on or led up to so far, and you can forecast some of the things that are going to get touched on. I appreciate the realism of how the harem is progressing it’s not a rushed experience it’s flushed out it’s has some depth to it , you know the reasoning of the characters and why some are hesitant. Good stuff keep them coming please

really?

I would like to discuss cliffhangers. when you start a series you always hope that each book ends in a way we can feel like we finished a book. like the mc and his/her crew overcame terrible odds and now the next adventure awaits in them in the next book.
some authors like to have the MC. " die". and then wait for next book to find out what miracle occurs. or something equally annoying.
this author brings all new meaning to cliffhanger. book 3 had very little action just cool ingo and character development. which we readers appreciate. this MC always says protect his family ,repeatedly. but when they are attacked , retpeatedly. they never go after anyone in this book. I like the story and the narrators but I suggest to read only when book 4 is available. because this one end with sam fi

Will not find closure here

I enjoyed this book more than the second one but felt it avoided dealing with loose ends that depending on how long this author plans this series may never get a payoff. I do love the ending of the book though... after all the books I have read I did see it coming the signs were there. I think a side story of Heidi or Lexi would be better than cramming it into sam's story it feels forced.

Pro's:
Decent character development.
More focused on the main characters.
Voice Acting is well done.
The perspective jumping is better in this book but still not great.

Con's
Plot Holes or minor loose ends not dealt with, it feels like the author wrote them planning on moving forward with it then abandoned the ideas without closing them up.

Jumping character perspectives is jarring, some of the jumps are simply not needed.

Overall I enjoyed it enough I went through all 3 available in a row, it's just not amazing writing, the voice actors make the story more palatable. It's not a bad series so far but will run into issues if the author keeps adding characters, I know it's a harem book series but c'mon it's obvious on some points.

perfect

this story is absolutely fantastic. the characters are believable and you really feel for them. it is really the only series that I feel the characters relationship is believable and could see in the real world ( not including the superpowers). please continue this series because it can't end on a cliffhanger like that
