The book is great and is exactly what you'd expect from this kind of story. The voice acting I personally liked a lot. The narrator was charming and I enjoyed her performance of the male characters.

I honestly really liked the voice acting for this audio book, if you are on edge about buying the sample audio provided gives you a good idea on how it is going to go. I am excited to listen to volume 2 😊

I loved the light novels, manga, and anime, so I figured I’d grab the audiobook of the light novels too. While the story holds up the narration is AWFUL. If you’ve ever seen those TikToks making fun of anime voice, this has that all over. The male characters sound particularly grating, and everyone has a halting speech pattern. I would also note they pronounced foyer incorrectly (the American way instead of the international way) which did not endear the narrator to me.

Would love to see the rest of this series with a different narrator.
