I loved the story of an Asian woman who comes to the US and tries to adapt. the simplicity of the character makes her really interesting somehow. I was thoroughly enjoying the book but when it should have ended it kept going for another 3 hours there were totally unneeded. it's a good book but once she reaches her final goal you can probably stop listening. reader was very good. the characters all created the messiness that is family life.
