Publisher's Summary

In a last-ditch attempt to secure an investor for an app she’s developed, Rome Foster travels to her namesake city hoping her luck is going to change. Just as she’s about to pitch her life’s work, she meets the charming and captivating Nadine, a high-end escort who shocks Rome by flirting with her. Rome is straight, but Nadine sparks up a fire in her so strong that it seems impossible to extinguish.

Nadine Costa is pleased with the way her life is going. She lives in a fantastic apartment in the city she loves, and her lucrative job provides the funds she needs to support her expensive passion: perfume-making. When Rome crosses her path, she knows she’s never smelled anything quite so exquisite in her life.

Rome is a loner and doesn’t let people in, but when an incident occurs and Nadine steps in to save her, she realizes her feelings go deeper than just lust. Neither of them was looking for something more than physical, but when the stars are aligned, it’s hard to escape destiny!

I really like Lise Gold books

This doesn’t disappoint. It’s sweet, and touches on important issues. The live story felt good. Not too overwhelming. Just sweet and perfect.

One of Lise Gold’s Best

Great stories with focus on two women rather than many. Great setting giving many travel ideas

Loved it

Another great romance by Lise Gold. It’s not just great romance but she makes you feel invested in the characters. There are multiple mini plot lines going on and she’s able to weave them together and blend with the overall story line. Would recommend this and anything else written by Ms. Gold.

Such a beautifully written story

There wasn't a moment where I thought, this would never happen. The characters, their dilmenas, their evolution, it all nicely progressed. Lise Good also dealt with a difficult topic in a way that didn't detract from the romance. I enjoyed getting to know Nadine the most and Eliza! The narration was great too! Very much recommend it.

Love it!!! one of the better touching love stories

This story will take you on a roller coaster of emotions. I must say it makes you want to visit Rome and find a passionate lover as these two MC's were. Lise and TJ work together so well, it makes such a difference.

Wonderful story

Audible version as good as the book, but better listening to it. The only thing is that Nadines character should have had a more sultry voice than the screechy voice she had in this book. The image portrayed by the description provided by the author would have called for a deeper sexier voice, other than that this book was fantastic.

Ok but a little tedious

I love Rome, and I loved the large part of this book, but about 6 hours into listening it started to annoy me, the story was not flowing naturally, beside for a book taking place in Rome I wanted more descriptions of one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
