Publisher's Summary

Tyler Jacobson has a plan for everything - except how to handle his completely annoying, utterly frustrating, and totally sexy upstairs neighbor. He couldn't care less if Everly Ribinski thinks he's equally irritating - until he discovers she's the only one who can help him land a business deal that will finally make him feel like he's more than just a guy from the wrong side of the tracks.

Color him shocked when Everly refuses to help, insisting she should have run him over in the parking garage when she had the chance. Harsh, but possibly deserved. Tyler may have spent the last few months reveling in annoying the fiery gallery owner with a dark past, but he's got secret leverage she can't refuse.

If only they could stop trying to one-up each other long enough to realize the pranks are nothing more than foreplay. Of course, he figures it out quicker. He's smart like that. Too bad Everly wants nothing to do with him. Or does she? Wait. What is she up to now?

For a man who's always scheming, the best-laid plans never felt so good falling apart....

Contains mature themes.

Maybe a better title.

Not too much scheming going on. Unless you count how the Hero might be at his job. Their was more scheming from supporting characters than main Characters. That and one scheming ex-hobag. The Hero ,Tyler, is more socially screwed up due to his past. He is driven to make himself been seen as someone who is nothing like his family. That is the first problem with this pairing. Is the Hero attracted to the Heroine? Hell yes! But, because she is from where he was and he shuns that, it makes every opportunity they get together become thick with tension. He wants to say the right thing, but screws up and then his stubborn pride and upbringing won't sort it out. The Heroine, Everly, has never forgotten where she came from and is proud of it. She embraces who she is and won't apologize for it. The is very strong and even though he is an ass, she is still kind. I might have thrown that coin away on him. I swear it's rigged! Good story though and good performance. Would like to see Carlo's story too.

1 too many

A repeat of the previous in the series, only more annoying. Why does every woman have to be so bitchy and all the men have to be such jerks? Just asking. It was cute in book 1. Less so in book 2 and wow I want to go deaf in book 3. I listened to the audiobooks. The over done narration in this one

Horrible!

The first 2 in this series we good and I was confident using a credit for the 3rd book would be a good choice. OMG what a mistake! Firstly I love Tatiana and have listened to may of her narrations before but the accent was so bad it was almost insulting and I cannot believe the author approved it. Secondly the H and h were so unappealing that 5 hours into the book and I wouldn’t have cared if they both were hit by a bus. The h was so narrow minded and Condescending that I just couldn’t stand her. Sorry but this book was a big miss and I wouldn’t waste you credit or time.

No real character building

Writer again has a lot of sex in the story, but no real character building. I like to immerse myself in the characters. I want to feel their emotions & not just hear about sex scenes. There is no real story here. Just sex talk. Build up your characters writer! Make it memorable.

liked this one the most in series.

Series in whole weak, cut and paste first draft. Almost same drama in all 3 books.
Interventions with male. People fight and breakup get back together can still manage to function they don't need interventions.
the buying them something ridiculously expensive in appoligies just doesn't sit right.
Hate large public declarations of appoligies
The female in this book was at least independent. The story line wasn't as ridiculous like others.
It was in audible escapes and included. Will be skipping this author too many good reads out there.

Terrible narration

Completely unlistenable. Farcical and stereotypical accents which overshadowed the story. The story deserved so much better than this absolute trash fire narration.

Only listed to oone chapter

The woman's accent was so bad that I could not listen to this audiobook. It sounded like a bad NY accent and I do not think the story location is in NYC area.

Hope there's another in this series

I really want to see Carlos and Kiki get together.
Well-rounded characters, a nice look at romance, and a fun story.
