Story
Islam has been one of the most powerful religious, social, and political forces in history. Over the last 1,400 years, from origins in Arabia, a succession of Muslim polities, and later empires expanded to control territories and peoples that ultimately stretched from southern France to East Africa and South East Asia. Yet many of the contributions of Muslim thinkers, scientists, and theologians, not to mention rulers, statesmen, and soldiers, have been occluded. This book rescues from oblivion and neglect some of these personalities and institutions.

The Qur'an, believed by Muslims to be the word of God, was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad 1,400 years ago. It is the supreme authority in Islam and the living source of all Islamic teaching; it is a sacred text and a book of guidance that sets out the creed, rituals, ethics, and laws of the Islamic religion. It has been one of the most influential books in the history of literature. Recognized as the greatest literary masterpiece in Arabic, it has nevertheless remained difficult to understand in its English translations.

Story
The Quran, a book which brings glad tidings to mankind along with divine admonition, stresses the importance of man's discovery of truth on both spiritual and intellectual planes. Every book has its objective, and the objective of the Quran is to make man aware of the Creation plan of God. That is, to tell man why God created this world; what the purpose is of settling man on Earth; what is required from man in his pre-death life span, and what he is going to confront after death.

Of the great figure in 20th-century American history perhaps none is more complex and controversial than Malcolm X. Constantly rewriting his own story, he became a criminal, a minister, a leader, and an icon, all before being felled by assassins' bullets at age 39. Through his tireless work and countless speeches he empowered hundreds of thousands of black Americans to create better lives and stronger communities while establishing the template for the self-actualized, independent African American man.

Publisher's Summary
A complete authoritative book on the life of Prophet Muhammad PBUH by Sheikh Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarkpuri. The Sealed Nector was honoured by the World Muslim League as first prize winner book. Whoever wants to know the whole life style of the Prophet in detail must listen to this audio-book.
Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the Messenger of Allah, and those who are with him, are severe against the disbelievers, and merciful among themselves. You see them bowing and falling down prostrate (in prayer), seeking bounty from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure. The mark of them (i.e. of their Faith) is on their faces (fore heads) from the traces of prostration (during prayers). This is their description in the Taurah (Torah). But their description in the Injeel (Gospel) is like a (sown) seed which sends forth its shoot, then makes it strong, and becomes thick and it stands straight on its stem, delighting the sowers, that He may enrage the disbelievers with them. Allah has promised those among them who believe and do righteous good deeds, forgiveness and a mighty reward (Paradise). (Al-Fath: 29)
The Prophet Muhammad (S) said: "The example of guidance and knowledge with which Allah has sent me is like abundant rain falling on the earth. Some of which was fertile soil that absorbed rain-water and brought forth vegetation and grass in abundance. (And) another portion of it was hard and held the rain-water and Allah benefited the people with it and they utilized it for drinking (making their animals drink from it) and to irrigate the land for cultivation. (And) a portion of it was barren which could neither hold the water nor bring forth vegetation (then that land gave no benefits). The first is the example of the person who comprehends Allah's Religion (Islam) and gets benefit (from the knowledge) which Allah (Azawajal) has revealed through me (the Prophet) and learns and then teaches it to others. The (last example is that of a) person who does not care for it and does not take Allah's Guidance revealed through me (he is like that barren land)." (Al-Mukarramah)

Audio Damaged
What did you like best about The Sealed Nectar? What did you like least?
The book is great, and the narrator is terrific, but there are several parts where the recording is damaged. It is inexcusable that a great book and reading performance are WASTED by unprofessional audio editing. The audio must be re-edited or the book should be removed from Audible.

Narration is terrible.
The narration is is almost unbearable. The narrator sounds like a circus announcement. I want to ask him why he cannot just read the book normally but instead he reads with great emphasis on every other word and it sounds terrible. I think it should be redone.

Very Concise and Accurate
I have been studying Islam and specifically Prophet Muhammad (SAW) for a while now and I must say this is my favorite book which I also own in print and electronic versions as well. I loved listening to the book however, there are sections throughout the book that is defective as it slows and the voice of the narrator becomes demonic like and I had to skip those sections (hence my 2 stars for performance) but since I have the print version I can refer to my books. The book is a very detailed account of the Prophet's (SAW) life and gives an in-depth account of the rise of Islam. I recommend it for everyone but this is a book all Muslims must read.

The story is great, but the narration is horrible.
What other book might you compare The Sealed Nectar to and why?
Muhammad according to early source, it has a much better narration.
What didn’t you like about Bilal Abdul Kareem’s performance?

Terrible narration!
I wish I never downloaded this! A terrible narration of an otherwise wonderful book. Sounds like someone making an announcement for circus tickets instead of reading from a book. It's tiring to listen to. Unnecessary echo effect and monotonous recitation which emphasises every other word without it adding any value to the narration. He pronouncea the Arabic words correctly but lapses into American (Eye-raq and not Iraq). Just irritating and unlistenable. Wish I could ask for a refund!
