Publisher's Summary

From USA Today best-selling author Meghan Quinn comes a deliciously delightful romantic comedy centered in New York City about falling in love with your best friend's sister.

How do you date your best friend's sister? Easy.

Step one: Pretend you want her to set you up with someone else. That will bring the two of you closer.

Step two: Go on date with lots of random women, proceed to get stupid drunk, and talk about your best friend's sister, thus gaining the courage to finally make a move.

Step three: Randomly show up at her apartment and confess your love. Women love that, right?

It all seemed so simple. A fool-proof three step process that will guarantee the love of your life to fall madly in love with you.

At least - that's what I thought was going to happen. But my attempts to win over Julia Westin backfired in more ways than I can count. The thing about Julia? She's smart - really smart - and her wicked gaze cuts through all the charm I've tried slinging her way. She's not interested in games, my gifts, or my stories. She might want me too; but she's not giving in that easy....

5 Shinning Stars!!

5 Shinning Stars!!

The Secret to Dating Your Best Friend’s Sister is captivating, engaging, entertaining, fun, and sexy. Bram & Julia's chemistry is sizzling and their banter fun and enjoyable, which makes so easy to enter their world, and stay put until the very end.

I listened to this audiobook in one sitting, it did grabbed my attention right from the start. Narrators Charley Ongel & Tor Thom got me hooked with their strong, brilliant, and entertaining performance. I found this audiobook so gripping that I couldn't stop listening, besides steamy scenes make the story that much more fun.

Author Meghan Quinn creates charates that are swoon-worthy, likeable, fun, strong, and easy to connect with. She describes the settings, and characters wonderfully.

Bram!

Audiobook review. Though I loved Bram, Julia was a bit of an acquired taste. She let her insecurities guide her decisions and behavior, which while it makes her more flawed and human, it also made her a point of frustration. She ends up redeeming herself by the end but she’s not in my favorites for MQ heroines.

Charley Ongel and Tor Thom did well in their narration and matched the characters well. All of the elements pertaining to their narration were satisfactory.

secret to dating

my taste in books tend to trend a little darker and more serious. I can definitely see the appeal for people who enjoy like contemporaries. the plot felt a little too contrived. I did like the hero.

Such an amazing audio!

The secret to getting me to fall in love with an audiobook? Tell me Meghan Quinn wrote it! Meghan can make me laugh one minute and have me sobbing the next...and I LOVE IT!!

I absolutely loved Bram Scott and his love for his best friend’s sister, Julia. I enjoyed the transition between the college years (when he met Julia) and now, going through the process to find his one true love. I love how there was a vulnerability shown in both Julia and Bram, which brought so much more to their characters. Their chemistry was absolutely incredible and knowing Bram’s feelings and watching Julia’s feelings grow? So much fun!

The like, dislike and recommend

I recommend though I didn't love as it held so much mundane details and the flash backs could have been better warned, as in some instances I had to trace back to make sure where I was.

Still it was fun to see this alpha pine over a girl since their college years, heroine got me a bit annoyed towards the end as she believes her professional test, can decide the future of their relationship. this was a HEA.
