I am not crazy about the British accent in general, but that aside, this narrator was phenomenal. She could be an actress, because it really seemed she was acting out this book and all the characters within it. The story was too sappy for me, but it flowed pretty fast and I whipped through it.

It was cute. There were some characters that were too caricatured but it was still cozy even with the gut punches. A nice little story about three women and how they get over hardships.

So many stories are so predictable however I found this one had a few twists that surprised me. Overall, story is touching and relatable. Resulted in a few chuckles and occasional swelling of tears.

TRIGGER WARNING
Obviously the book has a happy ending but there are chapters and chapters full of trauma before getting there. I kept listening to see how long it would take to get to a lighter read. This didn't happen until pretty much right near the end of the book. So, if you are in a place of looking for light and safe reading this is not the book for you.
