Abramm Kalladorne has returned to Kiriath to claim the crown he thought he would never wear and to prepare his people for the inevitable attack of the armies of the Black Moon. Another wonderful book following the story of Abramm and his return home. Once started it was hard to put it down. His relationship with Eidon and that journey has been thoroughly enjoyable, navigating the difficulties and challenges that following the truth entails. Knowing the people around him, discerning who he can trust, what their motives are, excellent. I look forward to diving into the next of the series.
The only minor drawback has been the narrator. He has a pleasing voice and changes patterns for different characters well, but sometimes he is a touch too sing song like. Once into the story though it didn’t detract from the whole. Highly recommended
