Publisher's Summary

This pioneering book details a revolutionary, never before seen way to allow your body/mind to swing the golf club consistently and powerfully—with no drills, training aids, or exercises. Results are often instantaneous and profound.

Best selling author, former engineer, and medical student Sam Barlow M.S. dives into the latest scientific research to show how his simple method works to amplify any golfer's abilities in a stress-free, enjoyable way. It goes beyond positive thinking, visualization, and goal setting and puts the player into a “positive feedback loop” zone.

The Six Magic Words “sets the table” for the player to get out of a slow reacting, analytical mindset and into the super-fast, self-correcting, reflex-response subconscious. It instills "I cannot fail" confidence on every shot and putt. This allows the body/mind to, over time, groove the golf swing that's best for each individual. Sam calls it The Self-Grooving Golf Swing.

The Six Magic Words can be used with other teaching methods. It makes learning them faster, less stressful, more permanent, and easier on the body.

Sam gives documented proof that Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods use this simple mental technique, along with basketball great Michael Jordan. In fact, he believes every great athlete thinks the way the Six Magic Words promotes.

Things you will learn:

  • How to overcome the fear of any golf shot, putt, or situation
  • The value of a "post-shot" routine
  • Things to do to avoid back injury and a unique method to cure golfer's elbow
  • That the "Aim Small, Miss Small" attitude actually causes shorter drives and less accurate irons
  • How to handle anger and disappointment
  • How to relax the body without trying
  • How to determine the best set-up, posture, and swing plane for each individual

Research articles are listed that prove Sam's method is scientifically valid. Plus the book is fun and entertaining to listen to!

Stop chasing your tail trying one swing fix after another. Let your body/mind groove the swing that not only works the best, but is the easiest on your body.

All for just the price of a fancy cup of coffee. Makes a great gift for the golfer in your life.

Excerpt

Arnold Palmer swung so hard it's a wonder he could get out of bed the next morning. Someone once wrote an article about Lee Trevino titled How Five Terrible Wrongs Make One Beautiful Right.

Jack Nicklaus grew up in the time of Hogan. Did he try to mimic Hogan’s swing? In fact, he did the polar opposite of Hogan’s flat plane, and thrust his arms, as he says in his book, “to the sky” on his backswing...

Jack's swing was too upright (he didn’t care); Lee's too flat (he cared even less); John Daly's too long. Vardon's left arm bent too much at the top of the swing, Tiger is too aggressive and his head dips too much on the downswing. Bobby Jones had the stance width of a five-year-old.

Sure, these greats practiced some mechanical things. But it was their minds (subconscious) that allowed them to learn the mechanics efficiently—more efficiently than most people—and then to trust, let go, and wait for results. (Yes, my Six Magic Words can help you learn mechanics faster and easier. More on that later.
