A Children's Story And Christmas Carols
It would probably be best if you owned a copy of the book The Spirit of Christmas, because the illustrations are apparently quite pretty. The story is very sweet and nicely narrated.
Just as an overview this short book breaks down as follows. The first chapter is just a 3 minute read through of the book. The second chapter is the same read through with bells that ring to indicate when to turn the page in the book if you are reading along with the narration. The third chapter is a version of The Night Before Christmas, and the rest of the book is made up of Christmas carols sung by a children's choir.
This is probably best for younger children, but not so young that they need help turning the pages when the bell rings. I really think this recording needs both the book and an adult co-listener to get the most out of the experience. Without the book it's basically a 3+ minute poem/story and some children singing. In the end, I don't think the audio format works without being able to see the pictures.

not what we expected
Neither myself nor my kids enjoyed this. I knew there were Carol's but I thought they'd be mingled in with the stories. Nope. It was 90% choir singing (which we are not fans of) and maybe 2 Christmas stories/poems. Wish I had not purchased.

Not a book just pitchy singing
I don’t recommend this book at all- find a better Christmas Carol album and skip this one!
