I've listened to every JA HUSS book, and loved them all. I didn't enjoy this one though. I kept listening to see if it would get better, but I just couldn't connect to any of the characters. This needed to be a full length novel, so that their could be character building, world building, and a proper plot. HUSS's books normally have amazing character depth and so many wild twists and turns, but this book was severely lacking. Looking forward to more sci/fi fantasy stuff from her, just not this book.
