The premise of this and the storyline was so promising that I feel like if you can look past the lack of editing, you will love it. I definitely will continue to the second book, but I hope the author hired an editing team for it. The author of the novel tried to make her prose sound poetic and complicated, but actually just ended up with lengthy sections that were unintelligible and made no sense. There were full paragraphs of this that I actually ended up texting to friends to see if it made sense to them and the answer is a resounding no.

Then the narration:
The female narrator was fine. She sounded a tad old for the character, but she was easy enough to listen to.
I feel like the male narrator throughout the entire book was trying to sound sexy and seductive, but it just made him seem as though he was trying to stifle a moan the whole time. He was so difficult to listen to and at times almost impossible to understand.

Awful male narrator and the book needs serious editing!
