The story is intriguing but I found myself having a hard time keeping the characters and worlds sorted. I still don't think I really understood the whole last part.

Great world building, too many Characters

I was pleasantly surprised how well written and easy to follow the three separate stories were. I thought I would be confused on what version of Diego’s story is being told, but it wasn’t. Even without being told which version is being represented, it was easy to differentiate. Each story was a fascinating listen and I’m excited for book 3.

The world building was intricate and intriguing, the pacing was excellent. I almost wish that it was longer, or split into more seperate books to really give each world's story more depth.

Moving and inspiring, well-crafted all around. I can't wait for the finale!!

Definitely a more complex story to follow compare to the first book, but I do think the plots are more interesting in this second one!

This book was somehow unbelievably infinitely better than the first one. The depth of characters, and woven narratives, are nothing but awe-inspiring. I am utterly engrossed in this story more than I knew I could have been. Somehow Islington has offered readers so many answers, while in tandem, creating so many more questions. EXCELLENT 100/10

The audio performance was also splendid and completely engrossing. I listened to the first book as well and I’m so glad I did.
