Book starts with a bang ... actually it's cleaning. It's sort of a pallet cleanser, but the author made cleaning exciting somehow. The rest of the book follows the same pacing as the first book - a bunch of short loops plus a long loop. It works well for the first book, so there is no reason to change it. MC of course gains more power by finding new challenges and tackling them the hard way which makes the progression as engaging as in book 1. Overall, this is a very good iteration.
