When Lewis, his uncle Jonathan, and their friends Rose Rita Pottinger and Mrs. Zimmermann take a trip to a small town near Lake Superior, they expect a pleasant vacation. Starting with a pretty nice mysterious event to hook the reader this short work quickly goes nowhere and stays there. Because the narrator is very good and the writing hints at being good and just never delivers it's a great let down.
