Publisher's Summary

I've fallen in love with Cato, and I'm not afraid to say it.

He doesn't need to say it back. I know how he feels.

Even if he doesn't have the balls to admit it.

Our daughter will be here soon, and our lives will change forever.

Will Cato let go of the past? Let go of the promise he made to execute me?

Or should I have never come back?

SO BLOODY GOOD

I’m going to have such a book hangover after finishing this awesome gripping trilogy. Siena and Cato’s rollercoaster journey to their HEA was full of conflict and their relationship took some hard knocks along the way.. but, despite everything, love does eventually conquer all. There was a lot of character growth as Mr. Cold and Ruthless Crime Lord fought hard against Siena’s conflicting beliefs of love and lifestyle.. yet very slowly his barriers came down to finally let love in.. and what a beautiful transformation. Strong and determined Siena had a hard job convincing Cato there was more to life than his billion dollar empire.. and Mr. I Don’t Do Love will make some terrible decisions before he finally sees the light. Once again, Penelope Sky has delivered a tense and thrilling love story that had drama, angst, danger, raw emotion, shocks, steam, heart and an alpha bad boy who is slowly transformed by the love of a good woman. The dual POV storyline was performed brilliantly by Michael and Natalie whose talented voices perfectly fit the characters, brought the feels and made this a 5 star audiobook. Worth a credit? Absolutely.. but I did think an Epilogue would’ve been nice. And I’m holding up a banner Ms. Sky, saying: can we please please please have a story about Cato’s brother Bates next :)

The narration.

I really enjoy the whole story. Love the strong female character. Michael Ferraiuolo is as always stellar in his performance but Natalie Eaton sound way too often flustered and the speed of talking is too fast. It makes the female character more stressed than intended from the authors point of view. This annoys me some but not so much it ruins the book.

Great ending

Nice suspense in this last installment. My only negative is that the epilogue needed to be longer to give just a little more info about the couple and their family. It would be nice if Cato's brother Bates got a book with his story. What would be really interesting is if Cato keeps his promise to hurt his woman like Bates did to Siena. Throughout the series, the narrators were excellent.

Indifference

I disliked Sierra. Her rationale as always flawed. She blamed her (rightfully) father’s greed for her mother’s death. Her father’s greed resulted in his kidnapping and her being forced into seducing/entrapping Cato to regain his freedom. She never asks for proof of life and sets out to give Mica and Damian what they wanted. Cato falls for her only to discover her lies. Cato was stubborn but rightfully cautious with regards to her and people. Her thought process irritated me throughout all three books. Cato leaving the business won’t stop them form being in danger. Any entrepreneurial criminal could still go after Cato to make a name for themselves and his status as a billionaire also makes him/them targets. I don’t like her...Bates either. Giovanni is my favorite character.

So good!

So very good! I still say it reminds me of buttons and lace. I did like that Crow came to talk to him.

Romantic

Ending was too cheesy, expecting more excitement and not a give in to female demands.

Siena sucks

Siena is the worst character I’ve every read in a book. I love Penelope sky books but her making him give up the business makes no sense, it’s not going to make them safer, if anything they would be less safe, he knows all the criminals and they all know him, would they really let him live, if he’s not doing business with them? I hated it so much, I found my self fast forwarding through her parts.
