Incredible

I’ve read and loved both of his books and this one did not disappoint either. They teach a mindset that I can never get enough of. Practice, listen, practice, listen, and repeat.

Informative

A thoughtful, useful, approach to life of which work is one aspect. I appreciated the examples which helped solidify my understanding. For the most part, I loved the author reading his work and I thought he did a beautiful job. My only dislike was that on occasion, I found his words and his laugh, mocking and condescending, rather than gentle and supportive, which surprised and disappointed me. However, overall I really enjoyed the book and learned from it. I love that it was succinct and yet quite comprehensive. Thank you

Utter garbage

Full of rambling thoughts based on one logical fallacy after another. Impossible to follow his train of thought when the locomotive has no engine or wheels.

Exceptional

Can not express the amount of gratitude at being given PRACTICAL tools and processes to apply in the workplace. The excerpt on how to become a better leader has given me a whole new perspective on the real reasons we go to work everyday; to lift others!

Highly recommend.

Brilliant

I have listened to this several times. Each time is valuable, instantly applicable, and extremely helpful.

If you are struggling to be right at work - or to communicate effectively, this quick listen is essential.

This context simplifies the seemingly chaotic and brings one back to earth.

Effectiveness from intention.

Absolutely brilliant.

Letting go of our personal self

What a thoroughly enjoyable book.
Timely as the Universe is in my quest for deeper understanding of the true being that I am this book “magically” appeared.

Michaels message and insight felt profound to me and interestingly enough for me the date and time I choose to listen to it based on other unfolding’s in my life.

I listened to the book with tremendous enjoyment and am eager to hear more from him.

I’m grateful for the teachings.

If you as the reader are seeking deeper knowledge and understanding of how and why to let go of the ego self to become more in alignment with your deepest being this is a book for you.

Definitely worth the read.

Thank you Michael.

Brilliant Arguments to Accept What Is

I resonate and love his Taoist-ish perspective to allow experience to flow through you. I disagree with his view to stay on a job or a relationship that has run its course (because it is only a resistance to dig deep that is causing us to want to move on). With the intention of being harmonized with the Way, sometimes we have to make decisions to bail in order to grow and expand our life expression.

So overall, I'm intrigued by the strength of arguments presented, but put off by the patriarchal tone.

Dissatisfied

The 1st half of the book is just a bunch of rambling, and all over the place nothing to do with work. The 2nd half was good and helpful, but the 1st half was so terrible it killed the experience

great listen full of insight

My only complaint is it was short. I think we all need to be reminded of the rich advice contained in this book. I'll be listening to it again and again until I feel it's engrained in me and then I'll listen again. Michael Singer is fulfilling a powerful call on his life, this is another example.

Great thinker, but take what works for you

There’s definitely wisdom in Singer’s teachings, but eventually I felt like he ends up talking at you with a belittling tone. This was about when I noticed the strong undertones of his worldview and gnosis, which are pretty much portrayed as a one and only option. I’m content just sticking with the original Untethered Soul and referring back to it from time to time.

Condescending

I couldn't finish this book. The author sounds condescending and unscripted. Occasionally, he would say something and chuckle (as if he just realized how brilliant that statement was). He makes it sound as if the solution is simply changing your view. He states that stress is the result of either fear or desire. The problem is you - either resisting what's happening or wanting something that isn't there. While ultimately it may boil down to that, this book doesn't deliver that message well.

Quick, easy, powerful

Easy listen with profound insights for those who wish to deeply self reflect. Michael Singer gives the insights in the boon directly, clearly, and with no extra fluff. It's rare to have someone give you a reality check in such a light hearted manner.
