Publisher's Summary
All Thomas Weaver wanted was death. What he got was time travel.
Thomas Weaver, haunted by a teenage tragedy, lived a wasted life. He closed his eyes for what he believed was the last time in 2016, but opened them again in his teenage bedroom and body in 1976. Now a middle-aged man in his teenage body, he sets out to fix everything he did wrong in his first life. A budding serial killer in home room, a possible new romance, and high school algebra complicate his plans.
What would you do, if you could do it all again?

I really enjoyed the story!
For some reason I couldn't get into it right away....I can't imagine why now. I loved the story, the narrator - everything! It has time travel, a serial killer, love, everything!!!! It also made me examine my thoughts of the hereafter :)
I will be listening to all the books in this series.

I am Hooked!
While this is the first book in the series, it is the second book of Middle Falls Time Travel Series I have read. I started with the fifth book in the series and loved it so much that I thought I would try another. I didn't realize that I would enjoy this book even more! Shawn Inmon has a wonderful style, reminiscent of Stephen King in 22/11/63. The details are well-written and I found I was drawn into the story and hated to stop listening. The narration has been excellent and the story captures the imagination! It was a single story of redemption, of being able to travel the road not taken and finding a better way. And, I might add, as someone who was a teen in the late 1970s, he captures the era perfectly. (I particularly enjoyed the description of Thomas' car near the end of the story. I think I may have just ridden in a car like that, back in high school!) I have recently discovered that there are currently nine books in this series. I guess I know what my next seven Audible purchases will be! Amazing author! Amazing books! Keep them coming, Mr. Inmon! Some day, maybe I will read my own "road not travelled"....

An interesting perspective on second chances
Thomas is a 54 year old recently fired car salesman and alcoholic. He never got over his death of his older brother which he felt responsible for and coloured his whole life. He kills himself only to find he awakes in his teenage body, 5 months before his brother dies. Now he is a 54 year old man in a 15 year old body and a chance to change mistakes of the past.
This was an interesting enough story that I immediately got the second in the series. The aspect of time travel, as well as knowing the future, sort of, but that the future can be changed, is done very well.

I'm Hooked!
I loved this story! I found myself caring about the characters, often exclaiming out loud while listening (my daughter thinks I'm bat sh*t crazy now)! Narration was excellent as well. Highly recommended!

Thomas Weaver
Wow, what an amazing story. I had to get used to the narrator's voice, but once I did I was embraced by the tale, with all its twists. What a concept. It is believable. Worth every minute of listening time!

Excellent
I almost gave up on the book as it described the loser alcoholic...Until he was started over as a teenager. Then it was very interesting!

Different and Enjoyable
This book was different than I would normally listen too. Expected it to be light and ridiculous, but it had a good combination of everything in it. I ordered the series.

Excellent listen
This has been an excellent listen. One of those “can’t put down “ books. As with any time travel and alternate universe books you don’t have to be on the lookout for any “errors or omissions” as the fact if the “alternate” can account for any little change or error. You can just sit back and enjoy!
