Publisher's Summary

Magic and vampires. Fallen empires and dangerous prophecies. Fans of The Vampire Diaries, A Shade of a Vampire, and Twilight will be blown away by The Witch Between Worlds series. For the first time, Clara's epic story is now available in this 10-audiobook set!

Haunted by vivid nightmares, 17-year-old Clara Blackwell suffers a miserable and downtrodden life in Great Britain. When a simple act of kindness leads her astray, a chance encounter casts her across the dimensional barrier between worlds. Clara is thrust into a captivating realm of vampires and magic that is desperate to tear her apart. Awaking in a mysterious castle under a cosmic sky, she quickly learns that the beauty of this new world is matched only by its immense peril.

Ripped from her nightmares comes Elliott Craven, her dream savior. Cold, logical, and deeply suspicious of her intentions, the dark lord of the castle will be her only chance at survival…if only he can find a way to save her.

The subjects of his castle aren’t the only danger of this strange new world. If word of her arrival spreads, the entire world could erupt into a brutal war over Clara’s fate. After all, there hasn’t been a human in this vampire realm for thousands of years, and that’s a very dangerous position for a teenage girl.

Story is okay but overall crap

Ya this is the story you put on if you want to go to sleep. The story skips and parts are missing and the performance well I don’t think you can call it a performance is the most monotone thing I’ve ever heard. Sounds like it’s from a computer.

Young Adult Vampire Romance Series

I bought the 10 book series for 1 credit on audible. I see many people have complained about the narrator, however, he does get better if you can stick it out until the 4th book.
FYI - This is a basic young adult romance series.
It's mostly about a naive witch and an old vampire - both with an immature view of love and relationship. If you remove all the repetitive narrating, this 10 book series could have been 4 books.
What kept me listening was that the author and narrator kept improving with each book until the last book (10) in this set. The conclusion moved from unsatisfying battle to soap opera finish at the speed of a snail. It was Twilight all over again - but dragged out far too long. So much of this could have been fixed with proper editing.
I found myself cheering for the villain in the end.
The series was left wide open with most strings left unresolved. I won’t be returning to this series.
