I listened to this with my nine year old son and we found the story entertaining. The narration by Carey Mulligan was excellent.

This book was well written and well performed. The characters are varied and the plot is fast moving but in a way that’s great for kids listening to a chapter at a time. I really enjoyed it and hope that the authors are working on a sequel! I’d love to hear more adventures and what happens next.

I’d recommend this for ages 5-12 especially, but also for older readers who enjoy a good magical comedy-adventure story.
