pretty good

Better than Scully’s YA origin story, at least? The author did a more credible job writing Mulder- his actions and motivations were more in keeping with the Mulder we already know. It wasn’t perfect by any stretch, but it was alright. The real star, for me, was Mr. X, who was treated sympathetically, while still showing him as a ruthless agent. The mystery made sense. Of course Mulder is going to insert himself into the search for a missing 8 year old girl. That’s the other thing, it was interesting to see how the Samantha storyline was handled.
I kind of liked it.

Excellent listen!

My only complaint is that I doubt it is canon (official). THAT would be cool! Love the idea of Mulder as a young man and his friends!
