Publisher's Summary

Instead of becoming a famous fashion designer as she'd dreamed, Brett Bishop ends up working for the 24-year-old daughter of an A-list designer instead. Even though her career plans didn't turn out as she expected, she still believes her expectations for her love life will be met. Brett is ready to meet Ms. Right Forever if she can get a break in the schedule her young boss dictates.

Evangeline Scott, known as Scotty, also dreamed of being a famous fashion designer. Years of fighting tooth and nail for a toehold in the fashion industry have taken their toll. Scotty has lowered her expectations and is the latest designer for I Am Alex, a clothing line for young adults. Her boss Alex and her congenial attitude is like a breath of fresh air, but Alex's chief designer, Brett, is something akin to morning breath with a dash of garlic, yet oddly interesting.

Scotty and Brett are more alike than they realize when they first meet, but it takes a crash landing in the wilderness for them to truly realize just how perfect they are for each other. They just have to survive Alex and her sister Cass who can't stand each other, their Uncle Mark who can't stand up to his own dog, and whatever lurks in the Montana mountains.

LOVED IT!

I must admit that "Just Jorie" by Robin Alexander was one of the first lesbian romance audiobooks I fell in love with and so I had high expectations for "There you Are." Absolutely loved it! The dialog was funny, but realistic and I couldn't help but love all the characters. The narration was also impressive. I didn't think I could like a Southern accent so much but Lori Prince has powers

Funny and Interesting

I recently discovered Robin Alexander and I am hooked! I did enjoy this book and I hope others will too! I am new to this genre but I have binge listened all of her books this past week. I will say that if you compare this book to the others, it wasn’t my favorite and though I enjoyed the ending I didn’t feel the connection between the two main characters. I liked them together but I just felt like it was lacking and forced. I don’t know if it was the story or the narration. I’ve listened to her other books several times but I don’t think I will be listening to this one again. Just Jorie by Robin continues to be my favorite.

Laughter is the best medicine

Lori Prince makes you fall in love with rotting carcass and a Not Roger in front of a alligator. I couldn't not stop laughing or crying or breathing.

Annoyingly hard listen

I’ve listened to several of Robin Alexander’s books, this one wasn’t it. The constant childish bickering back and forth with everyone was a big turn off. It was more anxiety inducing than relaxing. I do not mind gender neutral names, they’re cool. I just had a hard time keeping up with who was who? The narrator almost sounded the same except for the annoying sisters. I skipped through few chapters of the book and still was not interested. I’m disappointed in this book.
Perhaps it’s just me but if you’re into constant name calling and bickering. This book is for you than.

Sweet story

I always look forward to Ms. Alexander's books, because she sets them in Louisiana. This story was cute and went a little different than I thought. The characters were likeable.

Freaking hilarious

Ms. Alexander has a delightfully zany mind and Lori Prince is the woman to deliver the humor. This book is incredibly funny. One joke in particular is bound to stay with me for years. She's not good at letting the reader see the inside of characters..it felt more like watching a show about them than reading a book. Very little inner dialogue and getting to know the characters. Pacing is also a little funky. But if you need your spirits lifted, this is the place to look.
