Publisher's Summary

Ever wondered what happened to your first love? Imagine bumping into them 12 years later and realizing you still fancy them rotten. That's exactly what happens to Dig Ryan when he sees Delilah again.

Now imagine you're Nadine. You and Dig have been best friends for 15 years. And you've finally realized that you're in love with him. So when Delilah - who was always your nemesis - returns, you're mad with jealousy and can't help behaving childishly...like phoning Phil just to get your own first love back....

Thirtynothing is a story of ex-boyfriends, ex-girlfriends, and friends dabbling with yesterday when they should really be thinking about today.

Mediocre

I wanted to love this book and stuck with it but it just dragged and the character were unlikeable and not relatable at all. There were some good moments but not enough to add the substance this book needed.

Great story!

This story is my favourite Lisa Jewell so far! The narrator is amazing! Each character has a distinct and unique voice. I’d be happy to have Helen Duff narrate most of my audiobooks.

Well...

I have listened to several Lisa Jewell - I enjoy most of her books, but this one (and another one or two to be honest) was about characters I never really cared about, so I never really cared about what happened to them. I finished the book as I was mildly curious... Good narration.

Fun summer listen

Enjoyable book. The narration was absolute perfection! I loved the British accent and slang words. The story was fun and kept me entertained. Perfect story for lounging.

Yuck

I can't believe this was written by Lisa Jewell. I sat through 14 agonizing chapters waiting for it to get even slightly better. No such luck. Called it quits. Such a shame because she has such fabulous, well written books out there. This one had no real story, poorly developed boring characters and it seemed to go nowhere.

Meh

I usually like Lisa Jewel’s work. This story was fine, I guess, (a little boring and a little slow), but not what I expected from her. I kept double checking the name of the author throughout because I just couldn’t believe this was her work.
