It was a great listen. You get caught up into the story easily. Would recommend

I love this narrator and find this series compelling and well written, it's just not especially clever or smart. The twist for this book was also an outdated and problematic trope (see below spoiler alert). But the series is super easy to listen to and get into.

*Spoiler Alert*

One of two queer characters (flamboyant bisexual) turns out to be a rapist stocker and accidental murderer with psychopathic tendencies. It is implied that he is possessed, but this is such an outdated queerphobic trope-particularly the conflation of bisexuality and evil. They could have easily just made him straight.

This series had me from the beginning. I absolutely love it love the narrator. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series
