Publisher's Summary

From USA Today bestselling author Rochelle B. Weinstein comes a moving novel of hearts lost and found, and of one woman torn between two love stories.

When Charlotte and Philip meet, the pair form a deep and instant connection. Soon they’re settled in the Florida Keys with plans to marry. But just as they should be getting closer, Charlotte feels Philip slipping away.

Second-guessing their love is something Charlotte never imagined, but with Philip’s excessive absences, she finds herself yearning for more. When she meets Ben, she ignores the pull, but the supportive single dad is there for her in ways she never knew she desired. Soon Charlotte finds herself torn between the love she thought she wanted and the one she knows she needs.

As a hurricane passes through Islamorada, stunning revelations challenge Charlotte’s loyalties and upend her life. Forced to reexamine the choices she’s made, and has yet to make, Charlotte embarks on an emotional journey of friendship, love, and sacrifice - knowing that forgiveness is a gift, and the best-laid plans can change in a heartbeat.

This Is Not How It Ends is a tender, moving story of heartbreak and healing that asks the question: Which takes more courage - holding on or letting go?

So. Utterly. Boring.

I won't even finish it. I am 5 hours in and it's painful. Absolutely nothing gripping or interesting. Don't waste your credit.

Predictable

Although I do like a good love story now and then I found this book lacked imagination. I knew what was going to happen and I enjoy a surprise. No surprises here.

Not bad

Not my type of book, but not bad. I'm not sold on the performance, sometimes a bit too whiny for me. Again, it's not my genre so to be fair, it's a good book.

Sucked me in but didn’t like it

The story was an interesting premise but it turned whiny and over dramatic for the last half... I just wanted it to end...

Meh

Unfortunately our heroine really doesn’t deserve either of the men. She’s a weak and whiny beauty who makes poor decisions and is rude to doctors!
I would not recommend.

Predictable.

Nice story but I had it pretty much figured out well before Charlotte had a clue. My biggest problem was the overly dramatic performance of Ms. Gilbert. Way over the top.

Excellent and highly recommend

Love this book; it's my first Rochelle Weinstein book but won't be my last. Excellent development of the storyline. With the title, I thought I had the story figured out pretty quickly and soon learned how wrong I was about that! The twists and turns of life in the characters' lives seemed totally natural and not contrived. I laughed, cried, wished, and crossed my fingers but still could have predicted all that came at the end of the story. Definitely recommend reading this book. Talvia Gilbert did an excellent job narrating.

Captivating

This novel captivated me from start to finish. You fall in love with each character from the first paragraph and you are rooting for each one to the very end! Tavia Gilbert...WOW!!!! That was one performance I will never, ever forget. The passion and feeling you gave to the author’s words, brought each character to life...especially Charlie! I literally felt Charlie’s pain...and happiness...deep in my soul! BRAVO to you!

Great narration!

Wow, what an emotionally challenging book. You need the tissues nearby for parts of this one and the tears are well worth it. I was skeptical to read this as it involves "cheating", but it's not the way I had envisioned it. This book is so full of emotion that will bring you a tear or two but also a lot of smiles from love and friendship and being there through all the hardest times. I listened to this on Audible through Kindle Unlimited and the narration was wonderful! It really added so much to the book.

Heartwarming novel

This is what every book lover dreams of reading. Characters that come alive for us through words, a story that is built, like a home is; brick by brick, and lessons of life and living, make this book everyone's 'must read'.
