Publisher's Summary

I pride myself in being grounded. Sure, I’ve had my share of childhood fantasies. Winning an Oscar. Winning the lottery. Winning an Olympic medal for an athletic talent I have yet to discover. But the only fantasy I ever thought might actually happen was winning my brother’s best friend.

Heath Holiday.

My crush on him has ebbed and flowed over the years, but the day I started working for his construction company was the day I smothered it for good. Sort of. Mostly. It was on my to-do list. Making it a priority would have been easier had he not arrived at his family’s annual Christmas party looking ridiculously handsome in a suit.

Then he kissed me. We stepped into an alternate universe and he kissed me. I assumed the next day I’d just be Guy’s little sister again. The office newbie. Our kiss forgotten. Except he keeps showing up at my house. With gifts.

A gold bracelet carrying three jingling bells. Two dainty jeweled earrings, each shaped as a bow. And finally, he brought himself.

One brother’s best friend, asking if I can keep a secret.

Holiday sweetness

Just the right amount of love, sweetness and sexiness for the Holidays.. a feel good one.

Horrible Characters

Enjoyed Book 1, so followed the series to book 2 and I couldn't finish this one. Same tropes covered in Book 1, but with worse characters and plot - no, thank you.

Simple but cute holiday story

I kinda liked this book better than book 1 because there was more spice & it was funny! I actually laughed out loud a couple times!

Story was very simple guy has a crush on his best friend’s sister but he’s promised not to touch her. Then factor in the close proximity with work and bang you have a romance book 😆

The only thing I really didn’t like about this book was the way the writer wrote about the time in college when her brothers one friend drugged her and was going to rape her until he got her out of the situation. She felt “embarrassed” by that memory when talking to her new boyfriend about it saying she should of “known better”
That’s pure bull shit that a woman who ever feel that way!!! As an author do better!
No female character should ever be written that poorly!

Perfect holiday novella!

This was another great addition to the ‘Holiday Brothers’ series. I am really enjoying the brother’s best friend trope lately.

Recently hired by Holiday Construction, Stella will be working closely with Heath, her brother's best friend, and her childhood crush (that she has never gotten over)! Filled with lots of laughs and drama, this was such a fun holiday novella that just hit the spot!

Really enjoyed the audio, the narrators were great and was a super quick listen!

a little cringey

3.25 -- this was kind of cringe. The story, the characters, half the writing was just cringe and not it. While it had a few cute moments, I was pretty bored the whole time.

Holiday Read

4.5 Stars
This is a fun, cute holiday read. It’s short and easy to read. The first two books in this series can be read in any order, but I recommend reading them before the third book. The stories all take place over the same Christmas season and the first two share scenes at the same holiday party. Heath and Stella are good, strong characters that I connected with from the very beginning and enjoyed going along for the ride of their relationship. The Holiday family didn’t play as much of role in this story as they did in the first and I missed that interaction, but it made sense. I enjoyed the side characters as they added to fabric of the story.

I listened to this book on audio and enjoyed both narrators. They did a good job and were both easy to understand and follow regardless of the speed at which I listened.
