From Heather Morris, the New York Times best-selling author of the multimillion-copy best seller The Tattooist of Auschwitz and Cilka's Journey: a story of family, courage, and resilience, inspired by a true story.

Against all odds, three Slovakian sisters have survived years of imprisonment in the most notorious death camp in Nazi Germany: Auschwitz. Livia, Magda, and Cibi have clung together, nearly died from starvation and overwork, and the brutal whims of the guards in this place of horror. But now, the allies are closing in and the sisters have one last hurdle to face: the death march from Auschwitz, as the Nazis try to erase any evidence of the prisoners held there. Due to a last minute stroke of luck, the three of them are able to escape formation and hide in the woods for days before being rescued.

And this is where the story begins. From there, the three sisters travel to Israel, to their new home, but the battle for freedom takes on new forms. Livia, Magda, and Cibi must face the ghosts of their past - and some secrets that they have kept from each other - to find true peace and happiness.

Inspired by a true story, and with events that overlap with those of Lale, Gita, and Cilka, The Three Sisters will hold a place in listeners' hearts and minds as they experience what true courage really is.

Excellent

As always, Heather Morris delivered an excellent telling of these 3 sisters. The only flaw in the narration is the voice of Livy. I found it a bit immature for her age as she got older. Just my own perception.

Another great book

If you liked the first 2 books then this is a must. I wasn’t sure I would like the audible version over reading the book, but was finished it in 2 days.

One of my favourite books

Well written and I couldn’t stop listening to the narrator. Author did an excellent job explaining the sisters stories.

Compelling

I have been reading so much historical fiction but this is one of my favourites. To hear about the strength siblings give each other leaves me wondering how lonely it must have been for women (and men) without that kind of support.
A fantabulous read!
I am forever reminded that I need to be grateful every day for family, small things: I am alive and comfortable!

Excellent

I have heard many stories of the holocaust but none of them by individuals who lived through it. Well written and read.

volume was terrible

Enjoyed story, but could hardly hear it. I put all my devices (phone and echo) at full volume and still could hardly hear it and I'm not hard of hearing.

A True Sisterly Love Story

I purchased this book just for the title. Having 3 sisters myself and I am the only sister that lives on the otherside of the country . My sisters all live in the same town that we were born and raised.
Did not read any reviews and never checked who the author was. Brilliantly written and amazingly heart felt true story. Be sure to have a box of Kleenex near by.
Thank you for taking us into the lifes of the three sistrrs.
A Must Read and Highly Recommend!
