Publisher's Summary

Discover the origins of the warrior Clans in the second installment of this thrilling prequel arc from mega-best-selling author Erin Hunter. The Dawn of the Clans series takes fans back to the earliest days of the Clans, when the cats first settled in the forest and began to forge the Warrior code.

The mountain cats from the Tribe of Rushing Water followed the Sun Trail to a new territory, convinced that in a land with more prey, their lives would be free from strife. But while no cat has gone hungry, tensions are rising. The once firmly united group has split in two - and a young cat named Thunder is caught in the middle.

I love these books

I am 57 years old and love these warriors books! I dont think anyone who loves animals couldnt get entangled in these series. I have gotten so involved in the lives of the cats I actually cried when yellowfang died and Cinderella. please make the rest of the stories on audible because I use that as i cant see well. thank all the authors for bringing these cats to like and to McLain Andrew's for giving then voices and personality.

Just a FYI

This isn’t about the book, but just to let you know that these let’s say kids are saying things on reviews that are not really helping people know what the book is actually most of these “kids” are about 7 - 11 or even 12.

The thing is that if your going to say a review at least make it about the book. But, yes I know this isn’t about the book but I’m just going to put it out here.

My heart....

I really enjoyed the first book of this series and have mixed feelings about this one. I enjoyed having different POVs, but found myself frustrated with some character decisions. I know are flaws in the character for their arcs, but the characters feel very heavy handed at this point. I have hope for the next book and will keep reading.

This one of course made me cry as well. I would suggest starting with this series if you plan to let your child read this. I would not suggest this for anyone under the age of 12 though. Some parts were hard to get through, but it has made the journey feel more worth it.
