Tilted Halo

Author and ministry leader Kathleen Panning is excited to announce the release of her highly anticipated new book, Tilted Halo: Exposing the Truth of Women in Ministry and Untold Stories. This deeply personal and insightful work offers listeners a unique perspective on the challenges and triumphs women in faith leadership face, drawn from Kathleen’s decades of experience in ministry.

Kathleen’s journey in ministry began with a Master of Divinity degree from Luther Theological Seminary and her ordination in 1980. Over the years, she served in various roles, from rural congregations to large churches with thousands of members. Her work also included serving as a chaplain and working in team ministry alongside her husband. Despite facing early challenges that tested her sense of self-worth, Kathleen’s journey of self-discovery fueled her passion for leadership and mentoring, leading her to serve for over a decade in team ministry and mentor future pastors for 14 years. Additionally, she reached thousands of listeners with her radio and streaming TV shows, Aflame Ministry, and her Tilted Halo podcast.

Now retired from parish ministry, Kathleen continues to empower women in leadership roles through coaching, mentorship, and her expertise both as a "Fascinate® Certified Advisor" using the "How to Fascinate®" assessment and as a “Certified Positive Prime® Practitioner”. She encourages women leaders to embrace their unique stories, build gratitude, and use their experiences to inspire their communities.
