Publisher's Summary

Executive time-management secrets from a life at Disney.

During Lee Cockerell’s career at Disney as the senior operating executive of Walt Disney World Resorts, he led a team of 40,000 cast members (employees) and was responsible for the operations of 20 resort hotels, four theme parks, two water parks, and the ESPN Sports Complex. As you can imagine, Lee had to become a time-management expert, first as a means of survival and then as a way to help others make the best use of their time.

The time-management secrets he developed have become one of his most requested corporate-training lectures and are now available to you in this tell-all audiobook.

However, this audiobook is not just about time management. It is about life management.

Management is defined as the act of controlling. The executive time-management secrets contained in this audiobook will help you keep all parts of your life under control and jump-start your personal and professional growth.

Dull writer but Terrible narrator

The content is trite and full of hyperbole, but that's how Cockerell writes as shown in his other books.
This time, however, Cockerell doesn't narrate his own words... which really robs the book of its listenability. The narrator for this book really missed Lee's voice and nearly made the whole thing unlistenable. I had to struggle through it.

Waste of time

I was very hopeful! But the first 30 min of this 2 hour book were spent repeating the same 3 statements in various wording and selling products: day planner, short video website and of course the in person training.
For a time management book, I just wasted very expensive 30 minutes

Great Book!

This was a quick and helpful resource on managing one's life commitments better so that you get the important things done.

One point that stood out to me was Lee's example about a group of employees being asked by their boss about who would like to take on a new project.

While most drop their heads to signal "not me", one volunteers to take on the task - that one being generally one of the busiest employees at the organization already. This example signalled that some are more organized and, as such, are more prepared to take on new tasks, which ultimately will work in their favour career-wise.

Very helpful book. Good narration also. A worthwhile listen!
