Timeless tales and spellbinding storytelling
The magic and wonder of fairy stories have inspired children from generation to generation. These are perennial tales, cropping up in different cultures in different guises, but relating the same adventures. All have the power to entertain and spark the interest of young minds.
In this collection, 24 classic fairy tales are brought together for a new generation of children to enjoy. With some minor adaptations to some of the tales to suit our times, where girls don’t always rely on the ingenuity of their brothers or courageous princes to resolve their dilemmas, the plots stay faithful to the originals.
Written for children aged from around four to 10 years of age, care has been taken to use language that doesn’t shy away from presenting the plotlines of the stories as they are meant to be told, but which doesn’t unnecessarily scare or sensationalize either.
