Publisher's Summary
What would you change about your past if you had the chance? What if you didn't have a choice?
Stevie Geller doesn't do conflict. She likes her job as a successful novelist and playwright because it allows her to peacefully ensconce herself in her New York City loft, avoid human interactions, and leave personal drama for the page and stage. When her agent asks her to return to her hometown of Darlington, Illinois, to accept an award, she agrees only because he promises the process will be quick and easy. One panic attack and concussion later, Stevie is forced to confront her past in ways that seem to defy reality. As if befriending a social outcast and confronting high school bullies weren't enough, she also finds herself falling for a closeted teacher. Along the way, Stevie must decide if some things are worth fighting for. In her rush to escape the past, will she leave behind a better future, or are some conflicts really timeless?

Rewrite your life
Wow. One of the best books I've read, and I've read a lot in the lesbian romance genre. I love the message Rachel Spangler sends loud and clear: don't settle for mediocre - you have the power to write your own ending. As the song says, "the rest is still unwritten." Oh, and the narration was fantastic as well. Get this one.

Another great tale in the Midwest.
Love Rachel Spangler's books. I can definitely relate to the small town attitudes to something/someone different. And the schools are full of bullying. It was a great story. Definitely recommend!!!

Abysmal narration, boring
I couldn’t get through it. The material may have been decent, but the breathy babydoll voice of every feminine character set my teeth on edge. I have no idea why the narrator did that. The other voices were done fine, but the romantic interest sounds like an airheaded cupie doll. Money back please.

Brilliant and Wonderful
So Smart and brilliant from start to finish. Yes I would recommend this book to anyone, it has such deep characters, this one part romance, one part back to future story gives us such a fulfilling journey. Dealing with so many topics along the way, this story can’t help but make you cheer and be full of hope by the end.

a sweet trip through time with a happy ending
I had mixed feelings about this book. it held my interest but the voice the narrator used for Jodi was so high pitched and annoying it was hard for me to like the character. overall the book was pretty good. if you are looking for something steamy, this isn't it. it was sort of a sweet story though.
