Leaving .5 star off cause Austin comes off as very immature for 22 and everyone babys him. I get that he had cancer and that scared everyone but it was still OTT.

This was a quick read at under 4 hours and I read it one read. I absolutely could not put it down. This was such a sweet, no angst heartwarming story with some steamy moments but on the lower heat and sweet side. Both characters are just the sweetest and they were perfect together. There is a huge age gap between them so of course there are snide comments from others but nothing can keep these two apart. Swoon. Their love does move pretty quick but given they have developed a trust over many years I wasn't surprised by it. This book also includes minor Daddy/Boy roles (love and care but no kink) which I also enjoyed. I absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a sweet, light read.

The story is cute enough, a little fast transition between “no” and “I’m all in” as these happily fast after stories tend to go. Narration was great.
