Another lovely instalment in Cami Checkett’s series’s. I enjoyed the different characters and dynamics. There’s always a creep element in Cami’s stories though which is pretty predictable but reliable I guess. It’s never my cup of tea to have the old trope of macho man who is a threat to the leading lady and doesn’t respect boundaries or consent. It’s a gross narrative that is common in all of these books though. Aside from that, easy listening and nice to revisit old characters from past novels.
