Publisher's Summary
Welcome to the world of Bay West Social. Twenty-something Meg McTiernan is all about her career when her house hunt unexpectedly lands her at Bay West - a lesbian mecca tucked away in the suburbs of NYC - and her social life is given a turbo boost. There's a pool, a softball league, even a nightclub practically in her backyard. In this loaded environment, finding the right girl just got a lot more interesting.
Case in point: law student Lexi Russo grew up at Bay West and is about to start an internship at the law firm of another local, self-assured, sexy Jesse Ducane. Lexi's had a crush on Jesse forever, but Jesse's the one Bay West woman she can't possibly have. And not just because she's her boss.
Together, new friends Meg and Lexi navigate romances, fun flirtations, juicy gossip, tons of drama, and maybe just the right amount of true love.

it is worth it
I really enjoyed this author writing. It was my first read. The performance was good. I loved the Jess and Lexi relationship. Whatever you're looking for, this book is enjoyable and worth having.

Ok, but disappointing.
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
No, because it leaves you hanging. It wasn't that interesting for a part 2, which it will be.
If you’ve listened to books by Maggie Cummings before, how does this one compare?
Haven't read any.
Which character – as performed by AJ Ferraro – was your favorite?
Meg until her interaction with her ex.
Could you see Totally Worth It being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
No.
Any additional comments?
No.

Great ensemble book
Wasn’t sure what to expect with this book but it really is the story of a group of friends who go through hook ups, break ups and finding true love. Would definitely recommend.

Great Romance!
Cute chick flick style romance. Could relate with the characters. The narrator made me get lost between characters at first because she used the same voice for multiple characters so I had to start over a couple of times. She gets better though so stick with it. Overall great read.

Great approach
This is sort of the Sinfield Show of lesbian romance stories. Sort of not about anything except tracking the lives of a couple of central characters as they move through a year in a lesbian Mecca. Not a tremendous amount of character development but it's okay because there's a lot going on in a very non-dramatic fashion.
Interesting, engaging, enjoyable. Not much more to ask for in this genre.
