Publisher's Summary

On a rescue mission in the heart of the Indonesian jungle, Dr. Draden Freeman and his GhostWalker team need to extract the wounded as quickly as possible - or risk spreading a deadly virus unleashed by a terrorist cell. When Draden gets infected, he forces his team to leave him behind. He won’t risk exposing anyone else. He intends to find the ones responsible and go out in a blaze of glory....

Shylah Cosmos’ mission is to track the virus and remain unseen. Her enhanced senses tell her that the gorgeous man eradicating the terrorists one by one is a GhostWalker - and his lethal precision takes her breath away. When he’s hit by a lucky shot, she can’t stop herself from stepping in, not knowing that by saving his life she’s exposed herself to the virus.

There’s no telling how much time Draden and Shylah have left. Racing to find a cure, they quickly realize that they’ve found their perfect partner just in time to lose everything. But even as the virus threatens to consume their bodies, they’ve never felt more alive.

Disappointed

This series started off being action PACKED, with a tasteful touch of romance. It was an escape from the real, to explore new and interesting possibilities. Like all of my favorite authors, Mrs. Feehan, has to put forty shades of gray. In the mean time I’m having to skip the a significant portion of the book in the hope off non sexual, significant plot that mains mmm

Okay but not the norm

I love this series. Christine Feehan is one of my fav authors. Jim Frangione could read the back of a cereal box and it would be awesome. But this story was not as good as the rest in the series. It kinda feels like a second thought compared to the more elaborate plots normally found in the series. The “bad guys” were not even that interesting. Disappointing but I’ll still buy the next book because Feehan and Frangione are just that good normally.

too much "action", not enough action.

I was really hoping for a better plot and more action, but most of the book seem to be sex scenes or domestic stuff. I know Christine Feehan's books can get steamy, but usually they have a better story line and more action.

Review

This book does not read like it was written by Christeen. I feel a good story started and was lost. This story reads like it was written by more then one person. I am a fan of Christeen. I look forward to all her books. This one left me disappointed.

another great ghost Walker novel

Book was best because was not 98% sex scenes, just enough. More action and intrigue. Still alot of repetition.

toxic Game

I thoroughly enjoyed "Toxic Game". The plot and characters all came together with exciting fight scenes and intrigue. I love Christine Feehans stories. I was holding my breath waiting for the outcome. I look forward to the next Ghostwalker story and would recommend this book.

Narrator is awful

Jim F has ruined my love for listening to the ghost walker books. I can't stand to hear him butcher this series. What happened to Tom Stechschulte???? Please bring him back or get someone else to read these. I've had to start reading these again instead of listening.

Great as Always

It was so good, I cried. Feehan is incapable of writing a bad book. She has four excellent series that I can't stop reading... Ghostwalkers, Carpathians, Leopards and Shadow Riders. We need her cloned so she can write faster.

Loved this one so much much!

As usual there is nothing I didn't like about this book. I love Dreaden and Shayla their story was great. We've been waiting on Shayla for awhile and she didn't disappoint. I like these new curves to Whitney's stories that we are seeing. And that we got to see Wyatt and Pepper " child " be born.
