Excellent continuation of a great series

So happy that Carrie Ryan took up the reins after Rachel Caine sadly passed away. This book is a worthy continuation of a great series!

Love this series BUT

I love these books but I found myself yelling at the characters many times for their naivety with this one. Connor has been an infuriating, moronic kid for a few books now, but this time he was insufferable. His dumb choices led the entire plot. Gwen’s character now feels naive and in denial, even entitled. I missed the sharpness and rigid routines that kept the plot focused on outside threats. This time it was like most of the drama was self inflicted.
