Didn’t finish
The narrator mispronounces several words per paragraph -almost per sentence even- to the point where I couldn’t listen and understand what was being said. I can not recommend this version of the audiobook. I gave up after about three chapters.

Disappointed
I’m SURE this a great book, but unfortunately I could barely understand anything the narrator was saying - the speed in which he was talking and his accent just didn’t jive for me. Thankfully I only used a credit to purchase this book because I would’ve been upset if I would’ve used my money.

The Reader was terrible!
Need a better narrator! More expression! Had to fight myself to stay awake! Have read the book as a youngster! Enjoyed it then!

Bad
The quality of the narrator is very bad. His accent is difficult to understand at times and he adds no color to the story. He is monotone. Don't waste your money.

Laughably bad narrator
I’m not sure if a human is reading this since it is SO bad. Words totally mispronounced and inflection so wrong it sounds like a machine translation. I’m pretty sure it was produced as a joke. It is a sad performance to a classic. You are better off watching Muppet Treasure Island movie.

Choose a different version
While the book was a classic and well written, full of adventure and intrigue, the narration fell short. The narrator’s reading was choppy, often repeating himself. There was loud background interference in some parts and in others, a different narrator would come in and add sections. While the storyline and plot was great, it was ruined with sub par narration. Choose another version with different narration.
