Publisher's Summary

Gorgeous, cocky, and fast on his way to becoming a hotshot doctor, Josh Chen has never met a woman he couldn't charm—except for Jules f**king Ambrose. The beautiful redhead has been a thorn in his side since they met, but she also consumes his thoughts in a way no woman ever has.

When their animosity explodes into one unforgettable night, he proposes a solution that'll get her out of his system once and for all: an enemies with benefits arrangement with simple rules.

No jealousy. No strings attached. And absolutely no falling in love.

Outgoing and ambitious, Jules Ambrose is a former party girl who's focused on one thing: passing the attorney's bar exam. The last thing she needs is to get involved with a doctor who puts the SUFFER in insufferable . . . no matter how good-looking he is.

But the more she gets to know him, the more she realizes there's more than meets the eye to the man she's hated for so long. Her best friend's brother. Her nemesis. And her only salvation.

Theirs is a match made in hell, and when the demons from their past catch up with them, they're faced with truths that could either save them . . . or destroy everything they've worked for.

Contains mature themes.

BEST ENEMIES TO LOVERS & MORE

Where do I even begin with this one… Already before I read this and before I even started this series, I knew I was gonna love this one just based on the tropes. It’s a full package deal with…

❤️‍🔥 enemies to lovers

THE BANTER IS TOP TEIR GUYS! NO LIE HERE

❤️‍🔥 best friends brother/sister‘s best friend

❤️‍🔥 friends with benefits

❤️‍🔥 he’s a doctor. I repeat he’s a doctor. DR. CHEN! 🤪

❤️‍🔥 slow burn

I’m not normally a huge fan of slow burn. But I think because I listen to this one I enjoyed it so much more probably then if I were to read it.

The narrators, at first I was not super into them. The female narrator has a bit of a lower pitch, and I found the audio levels were difference between both narrators. The male one I thought was louder than the female one, so I had to adjust the volume between pov’s. I quickly got used to both narrators. Though I was not super set on the female‘s voice for Josh… I can understand it’s hard to get your voice lower and sound like a man. But I was just not doing it for me on this one. I’m so sorry lol. 😅

This whole book flowed so well. There was never a dull moment. There was a bit of suspense, with a crazy ex boyfriend! Which I was not expecting! Literally took me on a ride 😱🫢 From banter with each other, to backstories, opening up, interactions with other characters, gosh it was just so great!

The smut was unbelievably sexy! And honestly probably too sexy to be listening to well on the way to work. Some of the hottest sex scenes I have ever read - in this case listen to 🥵🥵

A Wild Ride

10/10 overall loved the trope and characters!!
Enemies to lovers, best trope there is!!
The storyline is intense at times and there isn’t a dull moment.
The love story between Jules and Josh from enemies to lovers was so well done. There are surprises and things I didn’t anticipate. Finished the book in just a couple days since I had to know what happened.
10/10 would recommend.

Enjoyed the reading performance but the book was too predictable for my liking.

I enjoyed the performance of Aiden Snow and Cindy Kay. This was my first audiobook and felt very captured by the read.

The book itself was very predictable and i felt like the problems and resolutions were just very mild. There was light character development but not enough to capture me. I felt myself wanting to finish the book just to confirm what I figured was true about my expectations. Very typical enemies to lovers trope yet very typical. It’s like the hallmark book for enemies to lovers trope if that’s your thing. I guess it just isn’t mine!

That said, the book was very steamy. I found myself looking around to ensure no one could hear through my headphones! It was enjoyable though!
