Featuring an exclusive conversation with Logic and Steve Blum

From #1 New York Times bestselling author Logic comes the highly anticipated second novel set in the far future as two friends uncover if the utopian planet Paradise lives up to its name.

In the year 2115, when the Earth is no longer inhabitable, the remainder of humanity lives in Babel, a giant space station. Two pilots, Quentin and Kai, must find the planet Paradise, where only the most promising citizens are allowed to live. On their journey, Quentin and Kai encounter Quentin’s estranged father, who left Babel for Paradise when Quentin was a child, and they discover just how different Paradise is from what they imagined—and how they must change it for the better.

The bestselling author of Supermarket and platinum-selling hip-hop artist, Logic, returns to fiction with this gripping and propulsive sci-fi novel.

steve blum absolutely killed it, my dream funeral eulogiser. such an immersive story, you really feel every characters emotions and truly feel like you're on space time. the incredible true story has always been my favourite album of logic's because of the space story + skits, and this felt like a long awaited continuation on it & it was amazing. logic's memoir (this bright future) will always be my #1 but i'll definitely be listening to this one again. it has me wishing i had a robot friend named atom.

As a Logic fan it was really fun to see his concepts from albums come to life in book form. As a film buff myself, the pop culture references were fun and, to me, helped me kind of mend the real world with the fictional world he's built. I've been really into sci-fi lately and all I could think of was: this would make an awesome movie. I gave the story 4/5 because parts of the story felt very convenient in terms of how the heros found ways around things but that's me being very picky. I loved it and I look forward to hearing what else Bobby may have in store for us in the future.

it feels right

Pretty mediocre, felt like the film Elysium, especially near the end, but strung together with pop culture references; a Ready Player One clone. The characters stand out even without Steve Blum's voice acting, but the plot is pretty contrived.
