Publisher's Summary

When we were 11, Oliver Ford Pemberton dared me to jump off a barn roof. He said you couldn’t break a leg from a 12-foot jump. He lied.

(You can also break a collarbone, which served him right as far as I was concerned.)

I wish I could say it was the last dare I ever took from him, the last bet I ever made with him, the last time I ever trusted Oliver Ford Pemberton. But it wasn’t.

Because he had the nerve to grow up gorgeous, charming, and sexy. And as we got older, the dares only got dirtier - and the betting stakes higher - until finally, he left me in pieces. I swore I’d never talk to him again.

But 20 years after I took that flying leap, he’s back in my life, daring me to risk everything for him: my job, my self-worth, and my heart. How many chances does true love deserve?

Loved the series💥💥💥💥💥

I loved Book 1 with Teddy and Savannah and really enjoyed Book 2 with Stephen Dexter. Savannah's character Chloe was all sassy yet vulnerable and had lots of spunk and spirit!!! Stephen's character Oliver could be spoiled, egotistical and selfish a lot, but he demonstrated some enduring moments at times. It's hard to get original story lines with over 600 books in your library but listening to Oliver and Chloe as kids, to teenagers, to young adults to adults was entertaining. The past and the present bought these two together endearingly. And I really like these narrators. Melanie Harlow is a great author. I love her writing and the humor, steam and chemistry in her books.

So Good!

I was so excited for Chloe's story! Savannah and Stephen were perfect for these characters! I loved how this story spans so many year with every up and down along the way. the name Undeniable is absolutely perfect and so true to the story! Lots of push and pull.. I felt for them both and wanted to scream at them both at times lol. SO SO good! Can't wait for the next!

I DID NOT Like Oliver...

I gotta go with a 3.5. I did not like Oliver. He got away with far too much with little to no consequences. I did enjoy the book but I wanted to smack him (and Chloe) so many times. Ah well. On to Insatiable!

Was not a fan

I tried 2 books from the Cloverleigh series and I am not a big fan. In both books, Insatiable and Undeniable, the male characters are kind of self-professed jerks and don't seem to be remorseful about it. That was okay since it is a romance you expect some level of personal flaw that the character has to overcome in order to achieve happiness. My biggest issue is that the women in the two books I read seemed to be doormats, repeatedly allowing the less than ideal men hurt and take advantage of them. They seem to think be a martyr is a way of showing love when the guy in question doesn't seem to deserve it. In the author's defense, the books end with the main male character overcoming their flaws but the journey itself is painful. I will say insatiable is pretty steamy but Undeniable is written mostly in flashbacks so you miss most of the steam. Overall, the books are okay but I don't think I will continue the series.

Not as good as the first book

The life-long love story between Chloe and Oliver is sweet. But the many look-backs felt unnessecary. The book should have started with their childhood adventures, and followed them growing up.

Savannah is one of my favourite female narrators. Sadly, Stephen disappointed me this time. He sounds unrehearsed and almost bored.

No for me

Story was good but. I like imperfect characters but I had difficulty to feel the love. It seemed more about sex. After stunt in Chicago I would like more groveling. Didn’t like at all swearing with F bombs and Lord’s name.

Friends to Lovers! Sweet and Fun!!

I absolutely love a friends to Lovers romance and Melanie Harlow gives you all that and more.
This book had so many laugh out loud moments and I adored the connection Chloe and Oliver Shared. It may not have always been easy for them but they knew each other like no one else.
This book was fantastic and exactly why Melanie Harlow is a one-click author for me!
