Publisher's Summary

Lynx

It was one night,

A night of pure passion and desire,

A night I will never forget.

But she walked out,

And I never stopped thinking about her.

And now, she's back

Within reach.

And again, she’s off-limits,

Belongs to someone else,

One of my men.

Teaming up with her to take down those who threaten our freedoms

Seems like a perfect way to get close to her,

But there’s more at stake than ever before.

Emerson

I never forgot him.

He was - is - everything.

But the timing was off;

I had more happening in my life than I could handle.

And now, with him right there,

I can feel how much I’ve missed:

His touch, his scent, his taste.

Except, there's more on the line

Than a love affair.

We have to keep it professional.

But can I do that when

I need so much more from this undercover agent?

Good story

But Mr. York, whoever told you you could narrate as a Brit- was not your friend. That was bloody awful.
Honestly narrators should never fake accents, it never works, and it really does make a good book bad.

Great story, but narration lacking

I love Sebastian York, he has one of my very favorite narrator voices, BUT whomever allowed him to narrate a British agent made a terrible decision. He is absolute crap at the appropriate accent! It fades in and out, sometimes Cockney, but mainly completely absent and very off putting. Felicity, on the other hand, should have read all the voices. Her accents (British ,Australian, Indian, Texan, & Italian in this book were great.
Please leave Sebastian York where he excels, deep, dark, smooth and sexy, Reading ENGLISH with NO required accents.

spies and intrigue

I loved how the story started out with Emerson running into someone she thought she would never see again, a one night stand. Lynx pretending that he didn't recognize her at the apartment when he was looking for Saint was funny because it irked Emerson.
All in all the book held a good deal of surprises and intrigue. Emerson learned a lot about the people who surrounded her at home and work, even her family. I also loved that Simon and Aubrey were brought into the story.
That's something I really enjoy about The Hero Club novels.

loved it...

So I won't deny that I was a little bit sad when I first started listening to this and realize that Sebastian York was pulling off a British accent... his voice does not need an accent but once I got into the story I soon put away my disappointment and got into the story My only wish is that they had spent a little more time on the reunion portion of the story

Not my favorite in the series

A completely implausible storyline along with disappointing narration put this near the bottom of the list for this otherwise fun series.

Loved but some facts need to be checked.

Loved it. I consider myself a classic movies buff and was upset at incorrect facts.

Emme and Links

Story was okay. But as much as I love Sebastian York he was not the right person for the job. Felicity Monroe did a much better job as Links. Her Emme voice at times was so annoying I wanted to stop listening. Overall it was okay.
I was happy to get some update for familiar characters.

Sebastian English accent not your best

Sebastian York is one of if not my favorite narrator I look for books he does so I was excited for his series he was doing this book. His British accent is the worst could not finish book and the book for me was kinda hard to follow. The female narrator has a good English accent so I gave 2 stars. Sorry Sebastian you are the best love your voice.
