À propos de cet audio

Matthew Walsh doesn't have feelings, and he likes it that way. Between breathing life into his family's third generation Boston architecture shop, keeping the peace with his five siblings, and competing in triathlons, he doesn't have much time for feelings. At least that's the case until Lauren Halsted tumbles into his life.

The feisty, beautiful blonde isn't what he wants and definitely not what he expects. She's so much more. Lauren Halsted doesn't have time and that's turning into a real problem for her. Losing focus isn't something Lauren does with any regularity. She has checklists and to-do lists and action plans a mile long. She doesn't have distractions and she doesn't let anyone tell her what to do.

When she trips down a flight of stairs and into her architect's arms, she gives into distraction for one night. They weren't looking but they found each other anyway.

Loved it!!! I just wish the female narrator reads all female parts & male narrator reads all male parts. That to me makes better sense! I love Kate's books!

Fantastic!!!

I loved how these two characters went on a journey together, neither really want anything too tangled.

The narrators were wonderful and made the story come to live. I love how you could feel the emotions and how the narrators brought them to life.

I also loved how it wasn’t just a steamy romance book but I was drawn into the lives of Lauren and Matthew. It was funny, charming, sad, and downright sexy.

Loved this book.

I really love this series, specially the third book; Sam’s story. Now I’m on a hunt, looking for all the books narrated by Christian Fox— he’s such a talent! I feel I’m with the characters! His voice is my jam.

Love the series, my fave is the third book

I'm a bit of a nut, when I find an author I Iike (ok love) I often go overboard with my like (ok love) so now I own the eBook, paperback book and audio book of Underneath It All, I am officially Walsh crazy!

This is the story of Matthew Walsh and Lauren Halstead, beautifully narrated by Christian Fox and Lucy Rivers. Every word, every page that I read in the books (crazy Walsh fan remember) was brought to life by both of these wonderful narrators. It made a story that was already strong even stronger because you heard the feelings, felt them in the voices of the narrators. You feel the anxiety, the angst, the growing feelings between the two characters and experiencing the hurt becomes even more real during several sections of this story. Hate and hate because I felt real hate towards Angus and I felt for every Walsh because Christian Fox and Lucy Rivers are that good!

Do not hesitate to get yourself an audio copy of this book, I'm telling you what you felt with just the words of paper (and you do feel a lot that way) was magnified 10+ fold in the telling of this story.

The Walsh Family - watch out for Shenanigans

Why are so many MFC’s so robotic, with their strict, stiff, stick up the ass rules. They have ‘plans’ that they made years before and freak out when life doesn't follow their plans. Not willing to change. They always need so much ‘space to think’ every five minutes. If anyone should have been afraid, it should have been the MMC with his psychotic father. The MMC was so sweet and did everything she wanted and went out of his way to show how much she loved her and her reaction was to not believe him and refused to take his feelings seriously. I really disliked her by the end of the book, and decided not to read the rest of the series, not willing to deal with another unavailable, workaholic MFC.

I did love that the MMC’s pov was at a higher ratio that is the norm in dual narration. Good thing because a story where we heard the hard, cold pov of the MFC for most of the book would have been DNF. The author never gave us any reason for her behaviour which made it impossible to understand her conclusions, not having any time or having an inflexible plan wasn't enough to carry through the whole story, especially since he was always willing to adjust to her needs. 43 minutes from the end she has a come to Jesus moment and realizes what an idiot she's been. Matthew was amazing, so beautifully written, I wish the author has given Lauren some of that beauty.

Another cold, unaware MFC beside a beautifully written MMC
