Story
Cameron Boxer is very happy to spend his life avoiding homework, hanging out with his friends, and gaming for hours in his basement. It's not too hard for him to get away with it...until he gets so caught up in one game that he almost lets his house burn down around him. Oops. It's time for some serious damage control - so Cameron and his friends invent a fake school club that will make it seem like they're doing good deeds instead of slacking off. The problem? Some kids think the club is real.

Story
Link, Michael, and Dana live in a quiet town. But it's woken up very quickly when someone sneaks into school and vandalizes it with a swastika. Nobody can believe it. How could such a symbol of hate end up in the middle of their school? Who would do such a thing? Because Michael was the first person to see it, he's the first suspect. Because Link is one of the most popular guys in school, everyone's looking to him to figure it out. And because Dana's the only Jewish girl in the whole town, everyone's treating her more like an outsider than ever.

Publisher's Summary
Teens and pre-teens flock to any new offering from New York Times best-selling author Gordon Korman. Told through multiple viewpoints, Ungifted follows Donovan Curtis through his year at a magnet school for gifted and talented kids. Thanks to an administrative foul-up, the decidedly mediocre student Donovan finds himself enrolled in the Academy of Scholastic Distinction. Out of place and out of luck, Donovan joins the robotics team. And while he learns a few lessons from his gifted classmates, he also teaches a few of his own.

Ungifted: One of the best books I have ever read in my life
I think that Ungifted is a really great book. It shows a boy that once has no interest in robotics, to be part of a team that involves robots a lot! I love that the audiobook version had the different voices, so that you knew who was talking, instead of getting confused with who is speaking and who is not. I am recommending this to anyone that would enjoy a nice book that involves teamwork, and a book that involves a very good moral. This book was amazing, and I hope that people like me enjoy this book just like I did, and I hope that people read this and have hopes for another person to like the same thing.

amazing
If you could sum up Ungifted in three words, what would they be?
amazing, funny, interesting
Who was your favorite character and why?
Donovan: he was clever, funny and changed and grew a lot throughout the book. Noah was a close second.
Which scene was your favorite?
The Robotics competition.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
It was a book we listened to together, so we snuggled into bed every night to listen.
Any additional comments?
This was my first Gordon Korman book and I am now a fan. I love that Korman writes intelligent, funny and engaging stories. It is one both kids and adults will both love! Such a fun cast of crazy and interesting characters. A delight for all! 5 stars

Very funny
Would you consider the audio edition of Ungifted to be better than the print version?
I don't know, I only listened to the audio!
What was one of the most memorable moments of Ungifted?
The opening was hilarious, total Korman.
Did the narrators do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?
Yes - my only critiques are: I wish more narrators of young characters actually sounded young. And also: The narrator who was cast as Kate seemed totally wrong. She sounded really posh, whereas Kate came across much more brassy to me.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I probably could have, if I had time just to sit and listen to audiobooks.
Any additional comments?
Very cute.

This book was really funny. It’s about a boy named Donovan Curtis and he accidentally gets in rolled at the Academy for scholastic distinction, And he hast to try to fit in. Even though he can’t even begin to process the work that they do there.
I like how this is the podcast audiobook and the way that Donovan makes friends, and enemies. I think a lot of teens, preteens, and tweens. Would really get a kick out of this book, if you like Gordon Korman’s books then for sure you’ll like this one

Super creative plot and fantastic characters
My son says this was probably inspired by a Simpson's episode, but however the author came up with the plot, we absolutely loved it. The main character has a quirky endearing personality, and all of the various chapters are told from different perspectives and we really enjoyed it. Two thumbs way up.
