Corvin King was phenomenal in this. Joe definitely had me on the edge a few time, as to be expected. I wish there was a bit more going on in the first book because I felt like not much was happening with the FMC to move the story along, and I was left feeling a bit blank when it ended. Currently not a fan of Avery and the way she's treated Grey.

Avery finds herself at the Lilydale Foundation Center, after setting her house on fire to kill her father. As soon as she arrives, she just tries to keep her head down and not get into any trouble. Unfortunately, our three MMC’s have other ideas. I really like all of them, they are each very different and distinguishable. This also has some secret society vibes going, there’s still a lot we haven’t learned yet so I will be reading book two asap.

This is definitely as the title suggests… unhinged

I honestly was expecting this to be way darker but the voice actors really made it worth listening to. The story wasn't the greatest of all time but that cliff hanger has me adding the next book to my library asap. I'm angry at Avery for having no self control ughhh

This had fantastic narration, some good spice, and I'm definitely sucked into the story. That ending though, Ack! Definitely will be continuing on this series, that cliffhanger!

Nearly all the reviews I heard about this book said to listen to it and not physically read the book. I agree. I think listening to the book made it passable. I’m pretty sure I have read this exact plot numerous times.

Didn’t feel original, characters felt like the usual we meet in this type of book and the high school within the ward… sure.

In saying all this, it was an easy and quick listen. I’ll probably continue the series while I do chores.
