this person obviously has an issue with our eating meat and doesn't seem to understand that even if we stopped eating meat we'd still need to grow animals because our plants are grown in animal waste products... he also doesn't seem to realize that plants are alive... beyond that its a well written B book

the narrator has to be the best part of the mega box set but can be annoying at times wit very poorly editing when the tetelling suddenly changes tone and intensity mid chapter

i didn't dig the narrator voice program changing in and out all thr time. and the set got really wishy washy. glad to move on.

Fun series. Only the beginning of the series. Ends when everything is getting good and the stories universe is being filled out nicely. Need the rest of the books done!

Childish pedantic story with plot based on nonsensical actions. The writer glosses over obvious ridiculous activities that make no sense. The character transports himself and a fighter jet through space instantly and no one asks “How did he get back ?” Ridiculous

when is the rest of the series going to come out on audible book 7 wasn't the end just another cliffhanger there are like more then 12 books in the series

Great story

I really enjoyed the book at the start but once the story got to earth it really started falling apart for me. Starting at earth the rest of the characters besides Chase eventually became irrelevant to the story besides being used as damsels in distress. Chase becomes completely infatuated with a girl he just met and basically turns into a teenage boy with his first girlfriend.

Spoilers beyond this point. SPOILERS*******

After they save Earth, Chase begins his transformation into Goku from Dragon Ball Z. In typical DBZ fashion he gets beat by a much more powerful enemy, he's told her can't beat him and needs to train so he does, he's told her still isn't powerful enough to face him head on but after seeing friends die he goes Super Saiyan and beats the crap out of the big baddie. He's then told he'll kill his gf if he doesn't let him live, so he lets him live... a guy responsible for literally billions of deaths, to save a girl he didn't know a few months earlier. She dies right after anyway.

Moving forward about 10 hours or so he finally meets up for the rematch and it's looking like it won't be so easy this time, the big baddie mentions his dead gf, he goes Super Saiyan again, beats the crap out of him and then once again lets him live because apparently his gf isn't actually dead, it was a clone and if he kills him she'll die too.... smh.

So once again, after killing millions more people on earth and probably killing thousands of humans himself during their DBZ style fight in a city, he agrees to not only let this guy live, but to help him by betraying the godlike allies he's had since the beginning.


At this point I'm ready to stop listening to the book, the main character is just a simp who can't stop crying, and everything revolves around him, there's no other heroes or important characters in the book at this point.

The tipping point for me was right after he let the mass murderer go for the second time, the nerdy guy who saved earth from a terrorist attack inadvertently created a super AI somehow, and this super AI is basically Greta Thunberg on steroids. At that point I really couldn't be bothered to listen to any more.

it was an entertaining story the reading wasn't bad I like the plot and the action but the author's Wokeism is a detriment to the story!! be careful of writers like this because this is how they subtly have been changing the world to their view so enjoy the story but see the wokeism for what it is!!!

Good but over woke!

It feels like it has an AI generated core with slight direction from an author. Had to turn it off just as I started into the second book. The dialog is just thin and unbelievable.

The narration 'fixes' stand out and also detract from this performance.

Wish I could get my cash back.
