À propos de cet audio
Suppose there really were vampires. Dark, stalking, destroying. They’d have to be killed, wouldn’t they? Of course they would. But what kind of fools would try to make a living at it?
In best-selling author John Steakley's vampire classic, one tightly knit band of brothers devotes itself to hunting down the monsters that infest the modern world—for a price. An exciting blend of horror and western genres, Vampire$ is a twenty-first-century Ghostbusters with an edge.

“This is exciting and surprising stuff….a real genre-bender that keeps the best elements of both.” ( Locus)
“Gives a closer, longer look at violent vampire-hunting than anything else to date, often at a breathtaking pace.” ( Vampire's Closet)
I really wish the author was alive to write a sequel. The ending was great, and while it did not leave on a cliff hanger, it left with the potential to produce many more in the Vampire$ universe.
In regards to the story, it was more than I expected and it left me wanting more. I feel it almost does a switch on who the main character is partway through the novel when it starts to focus on another slayer. The only thing I found lacking was from the vampire perspective. I wish the author would of included that as well as more backs story on them.
In regards to the writing, I only found the frequent use of "And" took a bit to get used to. I feel the author used it to instill a sense of urgency or near panic in the characters.
In regards to the narration, it was pretty good. I found the authors female voices to be terrible, but other than that the narration was great.
Wow! Great novel!
