Publisher's Summary

In L.A., Cassie Black is another beautiful woman in a Porsche: except Cassie just did six years in prison and still has "outlaw juice" flowing in her veins. Now Cassie is returning to her old profession, taking down a money man in Vegas. But the perfect heist goes very wrong, and suddenly Cassie is on the run - with a near-psychotic Vegas "fixer" killing everyone who knew about the job.

Between Cassie and the man hunting her are a few last secrets: like who really set up the job, why Cassie had to take the chance, and how, in the end, it might all be a matter of the moon....

NOT one of Connolly’s best

I’ve read all of Connolly’s books because usually they are very gripping. It was almost as though “void Moon” was written by someone else! The character of Cassie was not very compelling. The physical acts of Cassie were not very believable - being able to get through elevator ceilings and get into air vents/shafts. The villain was not very believable either. This book lacked realism that other Connolly books have. The narrator’s voice was annoying. The voice of Jodie was also annoying. I was disappointed in this book.

Great “read’

I very much enjoy the Michael Connelly novels, especially the Bosch series. This a refreshing and engaging change of characters, and locations. Suspenseful and proceeds at a good pace. I enjoyed this one throughout.
