The narrator's reading, while quite skilled, does not purvey Mr. Mears' own inherent humility and tenderness nor his emotional investment in the subject. This results in some passages sounding a bit condescending which, if heard spoken by Mr. Mears, would be informative and convincing. I hope new editions of all of his works but with him narrating will be released. I would happily purchase them all again.
